WHAT IS A LAST WILL & TESTAMENT?

A Last Will & Testament is a legal document that allows an individual, called the Testator, to appoint one or more persons, called the Personal Representative (aka Executor), to manage his or her estate and distribute his or her assets to other designated individuals, called Beneficiaries, according to the document's terms.

WHAT INFORMATION DOES A WILL CONTAIN?

A Last Will & Testament includes the following information:

  • Selection of a Personal Representative and a successor;

  • Powers of Personal Representative;

  • Beneficiary designations for assets;

  • Successor and contingent PR and Beneficiaries;

  • Instructions for payment of debts and taxes;

  • Instructions for minor and incapacitated beneficiaries;

  • Guardianship information for minor children;

  • Caregiving information for pets;

  • Burial or cremation instructions;

HOW MUCH DOES A WILL COST?

We charge $300 for an individual Will or $500 for reciprocal wills for married couples. In addition, we offer free changes for 3 years.

WHAT IS THE WILL PACKAGE?

The Will Package includes the following documents and costs $750 for an individual and $1,000 for a married couple. The package is priced at a discount compared to purchasing individual documents.

LAST WILL vs LIVING WILL

A Last Will allows you to express your desires regarding assets, dependents and pets. A Living Will is a medical document that allows you to express your desires regarding medical care and end of life treatment decisions like receiving artificial nutrition and hydration.
